G-Bear Enterprises: Where Clean Energy Meets Conservation
We didn't start a business. We started a movement.
G-Bear Enterprises was born from a simple but powerful belief that the way we power our homes, dress our families, and spend our money should mean something. We are a Canadian company operating at the intersection of two of the most important conversations of our time: clean energy and wildlife conservation.
On one side, we are a solar company. We help homeowners and businesses across Western and Northern Canada break free from rising energy costs by harnessing the most abundant resource on the planet, the sun. Every solar system we install reduces carbon emissions, lowers utility bills, and moves Canada one step closer to a cleaner future.
On the other side, we are a lifestyle brand. The Save The Pandas™ collection is our love letter to the planet. Premium streetwear and accessories designed for people who believe that what you wear can say something about who you are and what you stand for.
And connecting it all is The G-Bear Enterprises Inc. Save The Pandas™ Program. Our commitment to directing a portion of every sale, every solar installation, and every product purchased toward real, tangible panda conservation efforts.
When you go solar with G-Bear, you save money.
When you buy a Save The Pandas product, you save wildlife.
When you share our YouTube channel, you spread the mission.
Together, we save the world — one rooftop, one hoodie, one panda at a time.
This is not just a company. This is a community of people who believe business can be better. Welcome to G-Bear Enterprises Inc.
The Mission:
Go Solar, Save The Pandas™
Frequently asked questions
What maintenance is required?
Very little. Alberta's wind and rain naturally clean panels. An annual inspection is all most systems need.
How long do solar panels last?
Most quality panels carry a 25–30 year performance warranty and can last even longer with minimal maintenance.
What happens to excess energy I produce?
Alberta's micro-generation regulation allows you to send excess power back to the grid and receive credit on your bill — effectively spinning your meter backwards.
Will solar panels damage my roof?
No. When properly installed, solar panels actually protect the portion of your roof they cover. All our installations are fully warrantied.
Do I need permits?
Yes, and we handle all of it. G-Bear manages all municipal permits and utility interconnection applications on your behalf.
How long does installation take?
Most residential installations are completed in 1–2 days. The full process from assessment to activation typically takes 4–8 weeks including permits and utility approval.
Can I finance my solar system?
Yes. We offer flexible financing options so you can start saving immediately with little to no upfront cost.
Is Alberta a good place for solar?
Absolutely. Alberta receives more hours of sunshine per year than most Canadian provinces — including more than parts of Florida. Calgary alone averages 333 sunny days a year, making it one of the best solar markets in the country.
How much can I save on my energy bill?
Most Alberta homeowners save between $1,200–$2,500 per year depending on their energy usage, roof size, and system capacity. Many systems pay for themselves within 8–12 years.
Does solar work in winter or when it's cloudy?
Yes. Solar panels generate power from daylight, not heat. Even on cloudy days and through Alberta winters, your system continues producing energy.
What incentives are available in Alberta?
Alberta currently offers the Residential and Commercial Solar Program with rebates up to $0.90/watt. The federal Canada Greener Homes Grant may also apply. We help you identify every incentive you qualify for.
How much does a solar system cost?
A typical residential system in Alberta ranges from $15,000–$35,000 before incentives. After rebates and long-term savings, most homeowners see a strong return on investment.
